Riverbank Unified School District Seeks Community Members to Participate in a Bond Oversight Committee

Proposition 39 requires school districts to form a Bond Oversight Committee to monitor spending on school construction projects funded by Measure G.  Membership shall include the following community groups; and at the time of appointment, the appointee must meet one (1) of the following criteria:

 

  1. Be active in a business organization representing the business community located within the District.
  2. Be active in a senior citizens organization, which may be local, regional, statewide or national in nature.
  3. Be active in a bona fide taxpayers’ organization, which may be local, regional, statewide or national in nature.
  4. Be the parent or guardian of at least one (1) child currently enrolled in a school of the District.
  5. Be a parent or guardian of at least one (1) child currently enrolled in the District and an active member in a District parent-teacher organization.
  6. Member of the community at-large.

 

The Committee must consist of at least seven (7) members, but the Board of Trustees will make the final determination as to the size of the Bond Oversight Committee.

 

Please submit an application and, if applicable, documentation of your active membership in the organization you represent, by May 17, 2019, to Dr. Daryl Camp, Superintendent, Riverbank Unified School District, 6715 7th Street, Riverbank, CA 95367.

 

Bond Oversight Committee applications are available on the Riverbank Unified School District website or at the District Office, and all school site offices.
